About The Old Court House Read more...

The Old Court House is one of the more well-known and oldest buildings in Ross-on-Wye in South Herefordshire adjacent to the border with Wales.

The front half of the building is a stone structure which dates back to the mid-17th century. The rear of the building dates from the mid-15th century and is of traditional period oak frame structure also under a slate roof. The building maybe antique but the amenities are modern: en-suite rooms with gas fired central heating; modern alarms; electrical facilities; range of room amenities.

At the back of the property is a large garden forty feet above the road, complete with statues and floral walkways: on a fine day you can see the Brecon Beacons of Wales.
